3 good things

Whenever we have a 3-day weekend, the following week just seems to fly by.  I'm greatful that this is the case, since it was a crazy week at work (standard.).  I've really been focusing a lot of my spare time on wedding planning and getting the house ready for move-in lately.

1. Wedding shoes!  They fit like a dream and are beautiful and sparkly.  Can't wait to rock the red sole with my lovely dress.

2.  Last weekend, I started working on a painting project.  I found this vintage vanity at a local antique store and have been busy sanding/painting since.  This is still a work in progress because it has taken way more coats of paint (and patience) than I initially anticipated.  Fingers crossed - planning on distressing it to give it a cute shabby chic look.  If all goes well, y'all may get a DIY post about the process!

3. The painters are busy at work painting the entire inside of the new house.  I prefer neutral shades of gray over shades of beige, so the interior is going to look completely different when they are finished!  If you are thinking of painting any rooms in your home, I highly suggest the Martha Stewart Living paint colors at Home Depot.  The colors (and the grays!) are perfect.
